Two stars because they're decent quality tuners, but they do not "lock" at all. These are just standard tuners with an extra hole to thread the string through. I used them with my Floyd rose trem and they CONSTANTLY slip out of tune after just a few seconds of using the tremolo

They work as intended, but I had to make modifications to my guitar neck, so these would fit. But these work as intended and at a fair price too!

These tuners are everything one can expect from locking tuners. They take the aggravation out of stringing a guitar and hold tune exceptionally well.

I installed them on a IYV guitar I found on Amazon with new strings. I gave it a few days because of the new stings and stretch. I'm impressed! I'm actually had them before on an Vintage brand guitar, so I'm used to them. They are one of my favorite tuners with Gotoh being my favorite.

Two of the tuning pegs arrived broken. One was missing a white seal. My confidence in the item plummeted after that, so when I learned I was able to return it, I didn’t ask for a replacement. I decided to buy a more expensive set. The important thing is quality and you get what you pay for, as they say.

I've put these tuners on two guitars so far, and will consider them my go-to tuners for future builds. I love that they lock by way of using two holes in the stem rather than having to tighten a thumbwheel down. I've avoided other locking tuners for that same reason--I don't want to have to unscrew stuff in order to change my strings. These locking tuners solve that. Not certain, but I believe they are made in China. They are very good quality. Both guitars I have these on stay in tune just as well as my MIM Strat. I am very happy with these.

Nice tuners .. it took longer than expected to get them .. but they finally came .. direct fit on my Squier Strat by Fender .. I used my original screws the ones supplied where just a little smaller .. but all in all .. nice tuners fer the money .👍👍
