Not precisely what I wanted. The lip comes up too high and you can't read the book clearly through it (and my name is on the bottom!)

I ordered these to display my HP books with the various cover art.If you’re an HP fan, you know the books are THICK! Especially books 4 and 5.Book 4 is 734 pages, while book 5 is 870 pages.Unfortunately, book 5 was too thick to display using the stand as intended.I ended up opening the book and placing the stand inside the first 100 pages or so.I was careful!! So don’t worry.The stands have a protective film on both sides. You have to peel it off. It can be difficult to remove if you’re never done it before. I use a sharp pair of tweezers to peel back a corner, then use my fingers to remove the rest.Peel it off SLOWLY so it doesn’t snap. I peeled the underside at an angle so as not to snap the acrylic.The acrylic is pretty sturdy! It doesn’t feel flimsy. Now, with that being said, it’s still acrylic, so don’t intentionally snap it or bend it to test it out.I’m happy with my order!-Wife

I am using these for post cards advertising my business. I was going around to other businesses asking to leave my post cards, and if they said yes, they would just lay them flat on a counter or table. I wanted a cheap holder that I didn't mind leaving with them and never seeing again. These are great. They are very sturdy...I mean, a lot more sturdy than the picture suggests. Don't be concerned with that at all. It does not come across as cheap at all. And the businesses are happy to take my cards now since they have the little stand they don't look junky.

These are just what I was looking for. They are packaged well with protective film on both sides of the stands.

This pack of stands are made of a nice thick acrylic. They're crystal clear once you peel the protective film off of both sides (it can be a little hard to get a corner to peel up...try using a toothpick).I've got one holding up a portable 16" monitor, another holding up a pretty heavy journal (I keep it open so I can refer to it throughout the day), and another sitting in the kitchen for when my adult kids are in there cooking or cleaning while watching videos on their devices.
