These work quite nicely in any typewriter using standard 1/2 inch ribbon. Nicely inked and makes for nice print. Even if the spools do not fit, you should be able to wind this ribbon onto the originals.

This is the standard “universal” typewriter ribbon that fits most portable typewriters from the middle to late twentieth century. It includes the eyelets that activate the ribbon reverse, which some ribbons sold as “typewriter ribbons” on Amazon don’t include. I dropped the spools right into a 1956 Royal Companion and started typing. The ink was fresh and dark and evenly applied; the impression was crisp (except where the type itself needed cleaning, which the new ribbon made obvious right away). At this price, even if the spools won’t fit your typewriter, it’s worth winding this ribbon onto your old spools.
