Trying these cages out this year and so far I'm impressed. Easy to install and the peony plants are growing up thru them, hoping that I'm still as impressed once the peony bushes get to their full height.

Great supports for my chrysanthemums! I place cages 6-8 inches from ground and gently guide the plant stems through the squares. The don’t get as droopy/soggy after rains

I have had these support cages in the past for my peony’s and recommend them. Of course a HUGE rain storm came through and beat the heck out of the flowers shortly after blooming. No support cage can undue that mess and they never recovered. While the flowers are gone, the shrub is still green and the supports are still doing their job. I expect these to last many years.

The past ten years, our two peonies have grown successfully. Karl Rosenfield enjoys full sun, and the other cutting we got from my boyfriend's mother, appreciates the afternoon shade in the backyard. Two years ago, we purchased two more sun-loving peonies. Last year when they bloomed, I noticed they needed some better plant support props than the flimsy ones I already had. I ordered these TIyneayle 6 Pack Peony Cages a little too late and will have to use them next year since our Sarah Bernhardt peonies are 36" tall and nearly ready to bloom. The cages are sturdier than other reviewers implied. The rods seem to be thicker than my other supports that just have an outer circle, not the TIyneayle crisscross, grid-like pattern the stems can grow through. The 16" diameter should be wide enough, and the 24" legs seem tall enough. If I want, I can "steal" a rod from one of the other TIyneayles so I'll have four legs to provide even more support. In fact, I can use a leg from one of the peony cages I was sent that has an over-lap in the circle that should have been trimmed before applying the plaster-coated finish. The hard part will be to angle the leg rods only 2" in the mulch near the base of each plant because of our weed mat below. I placed a TIyneayle on top of an 18" Hyssop, just to show how the leaves, like peonies, can fit through the grids and grow taller. After maneuvering the leg rods to hang straight down, I easily hung the TIyneayle I used for this review on one peg and grouped the other cages together on a separate peg in our garage. You do need space to store these. My boyfriend wants to dig up some over-grown bushes, so I suggested the next time we go to a Big Box store or nursery, we should look for some new peonies to replace the bushes. He agreed, now that we have our new TIyneayle 6 Pack Peony Cages and Supports. If I could, I'd rate this product 4 1/2 stars for the lapse in trimming quality control I mentioned earlier.

The cages are good quality and the plastic coating is excellent. They do just disappear in the garden. The cages had three stakes for securing them in the ground. 4 would have been much better.Joy
