You really need to make sure these are in place on your RV refrigerator to prevent critters namely spiders, from getting in clogging up the condensation or drip line.

Original one from Jayco cracked. These seem to be a great replacement. Install was easy and it appears to be firmly held in the drain tube.

I ordered these drain caps to replace my old one, because I just replaced the old crumbling corrugated drain line on my Dometic RV fridge with a new drain line, that is exactly the same size as the old one.The caps look a lot like the old ones, however they are a thicker and stiffer plastic, and larger in diameter.First off, they would not fit through the hole in the frame where the drain line is normally secured. Then trying to get them to fit into the drain line by itself, they would not fit either. I even tried heating up the drain line in hot water, but they just would not go in.This would work if you replaced your drain line with a rubber or vinyl drain line, and drilled out the hole in the frame a bit larger, but I don't want to do that. By the way all Dometic refrigerators have the same size corrugated drain line, but I'm not sure about Norcold and other brands.So I rate them at two stars. I really thought these were going to be a direct replacement, but they are not.
