They are not water proof water gets in patter pak and they are ruined! One time use only.

When I opened up the package my first thought was…Dollar Store Quality. I pulled a ball out and noticed that each ball requires 3 AA batteries each. Thats 18 batteries for 6 ball lights. I opened the battery pack to test one ball. The rubber seal just flopped out and fell on the ground. I was able to put it back on but I realized that there’s really no seal. It’s the thickness of a rubber band. So I decided not to put it in the water. Instead I hung it over a branch of a tree. I was still thinking about the Dollar Store so I waited until the sun was gone and thought it makes a nice tree decoration for a party…but definitely not for decoration in the pool or pond.So in the end it really doesn’t hold the price point for 6 vinyl/plastic balls and is definitely not able to do what it states in the listing. I am going to use them as tree decorations but I will need to bring them in when it rains.

Blow up nicely, lights give a nice soft glow. Sturdy decorations. Had some fun lighting to an outdoor party.
