I'm giving this as a gift to a kid that may not have done this kind of craft before. The kit came in a plain clear outer plastic bag with each set of components securely wrapped in more clear plastic bags. I opened and counted everything and that was all perfect.I'm not familiar with this craft, but the plastic parts seemed well made with clear markings for the gems on both sides - I don't know if the gems are supposed to go on both sides (lack of instructions) but I assume so since there are markings AND adhesive tape, and I guess the recipient will figure it out if half the gems are left. The chains with clips all looked sturdy and were functional. The crystals that hang at the bottoms were lower quality and scuffed up a bit, but I don't think a kid will care much - they still shine. Honestly, 6 better-quality large crystals by themselves would cost more than the kit cost, so it's understandable and expected. I got what I paid for.The reason for only 4 stars is the lack of packaging and instructions. I went online and copied the "finished" image to put onto a box that I gifted it in - absolutely necessary to figure out where all the dangly bits and hanging chains go! I also copied and printed out the instructions/images to include. They're not fabulous instructions, but I think they'll be sufficient. I think it would be a good idea when you've completed a piece, to press it (like under a heavy book) to help secure the gems to both sides.All in all, I hope the kid I'm giving it to has fun and enjoys them hanging in her window.

This kit comes with everything you need to create these beautiful pieces. Easy to use, easy to organize, the sticky on the pieces is quite strong and I haven't had any issues with gems falling off. I do recommend some sort of sealant once it's complete to cover the remaining exposed sticky spots and to secure the gems in place. Try to keep your workspace dust, lint and animal hair free because everything will stick to them.

I wanted to do diamond art and didn’t know what to expect so I bought these just to see what it was all about!!! They were perfect for beginners! They turned out beautifully!I did purchase a sealant for them and made sure to do that before assembly!I found taking off the entire plastic cover was easier than trying to hold it halfway on the project!My 11 year old son and husband also got involved! I have moved on to a6x10 canvas project and already have larger ones to do next!

These arrived on time as advertised but found one was broken. It was easy to glue back together with gorilla glue. I was not sure how they would turn out but I am absolutely impressed how beautiful they are. Once all the drills were all applied I applied sealer they just sparkle. Very happy with them. Other than one coming broke I would have rated them 5 star.

This item is very easy to use, perfect gift for smaller kids with no high expectations on keeping this forever. The min warm temperatures are near a complete item the plastic rubies fall off. But on the other hand a good price for the lot. Beautiful colors and a good quantity.
