Great quality, cool lighting, convenient controls:This product is very well made and adequately waterproofed, and you can tell the second you pick it up it's made with good quality materials. The product does require a rather involved installation, so I'd recommend hiring someone to help out if you're not very familiar with electronics and sealing. The lighting, once installed, is very bright and provides a cool glow. The light is able to cover the vast majority of our small-mid sized pool, adding to the overall safety of the environment since we can see if anyone's in the water. The RGB coloring also provides a very cool, festive glow, adding to the ambiance of the pool deck area. The dual remotes also make it much easier to find one to adjust the light, and the signal is strong enough to change from the pool deck without issue.Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

This pool light is a really cool upgrade that completely transforms the atmosphere of our pool area. Between the tons of color options and the 3-way control (via app, remote, or the control box), it feels like there are endless possibilities for customizing the mood. Whether it’s a chill evening dip or a lively pool party, you can literally match your every mood. The remote control is convenient to have for quick changes, and I appreciate that they include two remotes for peace of mind (because, you know why, lol).The 120-foot cord gives a lot of flexibility in terms of placement, and the full seal grouting design seems to do a great job keeping the light truly waterproof. Installation was fairly straightforward: it directly replaces the old fixture in the 10-inch wet niche without needing extra gaskets or rings, which made the swap a breeze. I love that you can sync the lights to music through the app. It's a fun novelty that really elevates any gathering at the press of a button.The memory function is another nice touch, letting me pick up where I left off with my preferred color and brightness settings. Overall, this light is a solid pick if you want tons of color and easy control. It definitely exceeded my expectations for a pool lighting upgrade. Recommend!

The pool equipment company Pentair makes the lights I currently have in my pool and I think these are better in some ways for specific situations. My only concern (and it may not be valid) is the build quality of the controller which seemed a bit flimsy--especially the booted on/off switch which is clumsy and seems destined to break and the fact that it lives above the water and in the weather. The instructions included are light on detail and it is not clear how (or even if it is possible) to add a second coordinated light to the setup.I do like that these are low voltage lights--the power going to the pool is not line voltage and I feel that this is a safer approach then adding line voltage potential to a salt water environment. Another advantage is that the main electronics are contained within the controller instead of sitting in the pool water 24/7-- so could last longer and might be easier to swap out without junking the whole unit.The unit is controllable with an app, a remote or by the controller box directly. All are included. The app gives you the most options for color displays and timing. It's the winter and I have only tested this out of the water (you need to immerse the light in water t o test it because it uses the water as a heat sink) and found it powerful--with saturated light colors and lots of interesting choices. I have read some other reviews which mention that the remote control does not work reliably as installed--I haven't been able to test that.Quality on the unit itself is quite nice--the face plate is heavy stainless, shiny and well finished.The price is right--abut 1/3 of the Pentair unit.

This underwater pool light is a heavy duty option for those who seek longevity and service life out of a purchase like this. It is heavy and looks well constructed. The lamp turns on and lights up really well. The color changing feature is a bonus that can be controlled with the included remote control, which is really convenient. Wiring it up is a little bit strange and tedious, and the instructions for that are not so good so I had to look online for a step by step guide. It is easy once you see how it's done, but otherwise can be confusing for the inexperienced DIYer. Still, it's a good lamp and I am pleased with its overall performance.

So much better than those stick on the inside wall magnet lights. This thing is great. I actually custom installed it in my above ground pool stair set. The light is bright and appealing, fully customizable and controllable with app. Much better than my last light, which was actually 2 lights-since 1 wasn't bright enough. I should have got this first.
