I got these to work on a lawn mower, repair, clean, sand paint. I have found these work on far more things. I was able to remove the rust, smooth the surfaces and repaint the deck. It looks new again and shoots out the grass like new. I used some of the buffing pads on the blade, removing the rust, removing nicks and ticks in the blade, worked well. I even smoothed the hazing off the headlight lens on my 25 year old truck. I haven't used it yet because of illness. It might be nice if these kits came with some mask options...just a thought.Good find for the drill if you don't want to have to buy a dedicated sander. We are very much looking forward to using this for rust removal. It should really speed things up.

I picked these up to help get in the tight areas of a truck frame I'm working on. They been working excellent and last longer then I was expecting. You can't go wrong for the price and how many you get compared to a more expensive name brand you would get an 8 pack for the same as these are.

Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised with this set. It's certainly not 3M or Klingspor quality, but the abrasives are surprisingly durable and decent for the price of the kit. The non-woven abrasives last decently, and the sandpaper disks are actually pretty solid.Overall, I'm impressed! I've been using these on mild steel, and generally they've been pretty good so far.

The discs are pretty good and fit a standard roloc mounting plate. Also, they do a pretty good job of sanding/grinding/etc depending on what you're working on. All in all, they work pretty well. The one thing the lack is longevity. I might not be making a fair comparison as I am grading them against one of the top brands in the industry and they just don't last as long. But when it comes to getting value for your dollar, they check the box for sure.

Really terrific value - I've found that for just blasting out quick sanding projects, an air-compressor-mounted sanding gun with a 2" sanding disc is an incredibly powerful combo. This is the right setup - a couple of finer options for some light finish work, but mostly composed of hungry low grit options designed to remove material quickly and efficiently. I ended up using this set to grind down a rusty cast iron into a slick and polished smooth pan. It didn't replace that final sanding with an orbital, but it sure stripped it down into something that I could work with. I could see this being useful for wood, metal, even bondo work. I've found great success with my air compressor sander, but the instructions also indicate that 1/4" drills work too - opening up a bunch of options where mobility is important.

This is a nice Roloc assortment pack. Obviously not 3M branded Roloc, but a Chinese clone. Still, everything here is great. Biggest plus to me, they include a hex shaft AND a 1/4in round shaft for collets (ie die grinders). Most of the cheap Chinese knock off stuff only gives you the hex shaft, fine for pistol drill, but you really want to run these things with a right angle die grinder (at appropriate speeds).Al2O3 and ‘green’ discs which I am assuming are SiC. Couple flap discs, couple stripping discs, polishing discs, abrasive nylon discs. This kits has everything you need to get started. Backing pads are firm without being hard plastic, nice balance of flexibility and firmness. I gave a few units a test drive and everything appears to be solid quality here.Photo is a 80grit Al2O3 disc on some very rusty steel. Grit held up well against steel. Still pretty sharp.
