Having had gas furnaces for quite a while, the need for spare parts comes to mind. One thing that seems likely to fail is the ignitor because it has to get red-hot many times a day when the furnace is in operation. This part was ordered as a spare and not for an immediate need.The package arrived overnight and in good condition. The delivery date matched the estimated date I received.This ignitor matches the existing one in three ways: Mounting, appearance and connector. As mentioned above, it will not be installed until the existing part fails. However, I did check it with a meter and it checks out OK at 157 Ohms.
