At the first shipment the cover lens shade was broken and could not be repaired. We let know the vendor and he sent an other one working perfectly for my cameras.

This tulip lens shade had lots of potential. However, it attaches by being screwed into the lens itself, so I had to remove the UV filter and the lens cover in order to install it. That is not practical for what I need. The material is nice and the shade itself is good, but only order if you don't use a UV filter and don't want to leave it on along with a lens cap.

I lost my lens hood and this replacement was exactly like the original, it was cheap, it works, it came fast. What else do you need to know.

I got this to replace the bayonet type hood that came with the camera (Panasonic Lumix FX-1000, which wore out. It works fine, except that I cannot use this threaded type hood with the filter used to protect the lens, because I vignetting at wide angle. Decided to do without the filter.

The hood doesn't work on the Panasonic DMC-FZ1000 or equivalent as it vignettes.

The OEM product allows you to use a lens cap. This does not. Thats a real problem. I wont return it but dont really like it.
