So I didn't actually buy this for making a ridiculous amount of tea or coffee, or even to spice soups and stuff. I bought this to wash all those tiny pieces that need to be washed, but your afraid will wash down the drain like if you hand wash them, or just get stuck in the bottom of the dishwasher if you put them in the silverware holder. Things like O rings, corn cob holders, marbles, legos, etc. I don't mind handwashing the small stuff, but when you have a ton of stuff to wash and disinfect, it's just a lot easier to just dump it all in, pop it in the dishwasher, and let it do all the work without having to worry about losing anything. The pieces that you need for your cups, bottle, kids (small toys) all come out safe and sound. You can get a ton of stuff sanitized with barely any work. So yep, five out of five for me!
