Not really stiff enough brush to clean drain pipes or traps. Basically a soft bottle brush.

This 66 inch drain brush tool is exactly what I needed for deep cleaning hard to reach pipes. The flexible, stainless steel design makes it super easy to maneuver through bends and curves without kinking or breaking. It’s sturdy but not too stiff, so it glides through the drain smoothly. The dual nylon brush heads are a great feature. They scrub effectively without damaging the inside of the pipes. I used it to clean out my bathroom sink and kitchen drain, and it pulled out a surprising amount of gunk. Instant improvement in drainage! It’s also easy to rinse off and store. Whether you’re dealing with slow drains or just want to maintain them regularly, this tool is a must have. Much more effective than chemical cleaners. Highly recommend!

This is a nice little tool to have around. It’s easier than having to pull out my drain snake, and I am able to use this in drains where the head of the drain snake won’t fit. These brushes do not work as well as a drain snake though, but I wouldn’t expect them to. They just don’t have the same clearing power. The metal cable on these brushes isn’t nearly as stiff. They are more bendy and flexible. But they do work! I was able to use it to clear hair from the shower and clear some food from the kitchen sink drain.I have also been using one as a brush to clean bottles. They also work for cleaning the inside of tubes/pipes/fittings for my hydroponic tomato buckets, and was able to clear some old dead roots from the drain tube as well. The overall quality seems pretty good for the money.

Overall, the quality on these brushes on a springy snake type shaft seems good out of the box. I was anxious to try on our bathtub drain to see if the brushes opened up the pipe at all. The bathtub drain has a crisscross pattern down the center, but it was no problem fishing the brush through, I was able to fish the end through with the brush easily. I was able to push it through pretty far and seemed to be working pretty well. The problem came when I went to pull it out, it kept getting stuck, and I was afraid I was not going to be able to pull this thing out of the drain. Kind of upsetting to not be able to get it out of the drain. I tried for quite a while. finally, I was able to free it up and get it out. What had happened on the very 1st attempt, was that the wire that wraps around the bristles to hold the brush in place, became opened and dislodged when I was pulling it back out of the drain. So the unraveled piece of metal was catching on the crisscross in the drain, not allowing me to pull it out, and I did not want to force it. Like I said I finally was able to get it out by playing around with it for quite a while, I must’ve turned it just right finally to be able to dislodge it. I don’t think that could’ve happened if the winding was wound around several times at the bristle tip. It seems like it was just twisted once and that was it. So consequently, I am scared to try these again and I don’t think I will be doing that. It’s unfortunate because it’s a good idea, just not going to take that chance again.

I was so excited to try these brushes! One came out of the box today and straight down a bathroom drain. There's just no easy way to get that gunk out, but this worked! at least it helps A LOT! The shaft could be a little more jiggly, as I couldn't push it through a p-trap for example and it is like a spring so difficult to spin. But I ripped the gunk out of the top half of the drain pretty easilly. I think most of my "gunk" is on the front side anyway - and/or i can take off the trap and get beyond easily enough. love the variety pack, but there's very little difference in the smallest brushes. the largest brush maybe has to be fluffed or something, mine isn't round and kooshy like the others. and in case you aren't reading carefully, there are two double-ended brushes (a large and a small) make four and the last one is small one with a ring on the end..

This is a set of five brushes of different sizes: fitting 0.78" up to 2" diameter pipes. The brushes come on one of three 66" long stainless steel flex handles. These brushes are excellent for cleaning out pipes and helping to keep them clean and free flowing. Use these on sink drains or shower drains in the bathrooms, kitchens or laundry rooms. The extra long flex handle allows you to get these brushes into tight turns (like drain P-traps). The elastic nylon brushes are easy to clean and can be stored in the cupboard. I may get a second set, one for my house and one for my cottage.Would recommend these to anyone.

These are great. Definitely beats the homemade paperclip tool I made to get hair out of the drain. This one grabs all the crud and...there you go, unclogged! Get this--it's magic!
