First the card shuffler came in it's original box (light material not corrugated) The box was partially open and bent. I was not happy when I received it. I did try it and it appears to be working fine. The arm where the cards get shuffled into is stiff. I am hoping in time it glides a little easier. If not I will have to remove the card after about 4 decks being shuffled. I am giving it 4 stars because of the way it was shipped and because I won't know for sure how it runs until I am using it for a real game. We play Somba 9 decks so the shuffler gets used continually between hands. This shuffler is rated for 6 decks. We use two shufflers to shuffle those 9 decks.

It sometimes at the end failes to catch the last card , however it eventually does within a few seconds. It works great for what it is. (Esp when youre playong games with large decks) it did not jam, works great and as expected. I recommend thos product. I do run the piles through three or four times but I'm just picky.Sure beats manually shuffling.

This arrived with one loose metal piece in the box. I put it where I think it was supposed to be, but there weren't any directions, so I'm not certain. When it works correctly, it's pretty efficient at shuffling cards. However, that isn't very often. It pulls in multiple cards at once causing it to stop working. It also has cards falling down the sides, inside where the shuffled cards go, and it also will flip cards randomly upside down.We returned the first one as defective, and were sent a second one. It had the same problems, except there were two loose metal pieces in the box. Once again, I put those where I thought they were supposed to go, but there were no directions on doing so. It also didn't shuffle well without having the same problems.Returning for a refund.

It's a card shuffler! What more do you want me to say? It showed up promptly, about 2 days before earliest arrival date, in new condition, and it works! We play a version of Canasta that requires 6 decks, so this machine is invaluable. Our last one finally broke after a year of playing 8 games a week for a year, so I'd say we got more than our moneys worth, and we ordered another!Give it a shot if you like to play cards. But if you use only 1 or 2 decks, you might want to go for the smaller version, up to you.

These are replacements for a couple of worn out shufflers. So far they work great. They are used mostly for Wednesday's Hand and Foot games. That is six decks to shuffle.A lot of bang for the bucks. They are not heavy duty commercial type shufflers but for medium normal use we expect to get a couple of years out of them. The last ones that look exactly like these have lasted over 3 years being used every week.I would have to give these a recommendation on there shear dollar value.

This make several shufflers I've purchased. One did not work at all. This one works okay, but the top is broken. Since I did purchase a "new" one and not a "used" one--I expected it to be perfect. Is too much trouble to send it back to have it replaced. This was a 6 deck card shuffler with 6 decks of cards.

This shuffler works quite well with my newly purchased plastic KEM cards. While the shuffler will sometimes put cards down along the sides of the shuffled deck, this isn't too much of a problem considering we are shuffling a full six decks. This has been a huge time saver in our games of progressive rummy where we use a lot of decks. It is definitely made out of cheap plastic, and I can see why many reviewers have complained that the small black clips that hold the deck tray in place have broken. So far, it is holding up well, but we treat it with tenderness. All in all, I'm pretty satisfied with it considering the great price.

I got this because there was always conflict about how the cards were shuffled and the way they were bent. I thought there must be a machine like in Vegas that shuffled them automatically. No more problems with bent or bowed cards. The machine shuffles six decks rapidly although with a bit of noise. Once in a while a card or three will get sent down the side but you pull them and insert them in the middle of the pile and keep playing. When I gave it to my friends (it was a birthday present for Gil), his wife commented about how they had one in the clubhouse and they never used it because it jammed all the time. We've been playing canasta daily for over a month now and I keep expecting the batteries to wear out or the thing to jamb like I have read in other reviews, (& like Gil's wife said), but it hasn't done so yet. I am sure that it will wear out eventually because everything does, even us. Great product! I am buying another to take to Peru!
