The hydraulic fluid drain bung on my 12 ton bottle jack somehow came off and disappeared. I looked around for replacement bungs but it seemed everyone was charging $3 to $5 for just one replacement bung. I initially tapped the drain hole to a 3/16-24 thread and screwed a bolt with an o-ring underneath the head to keep it leak-proof. But when I saw these bungs at an affordable price, I bought these instead of continuing to use the bolt and o-ring.

I absolutely love having all of these. I have so many different jacks for different things and I have lost the plug quite a few times. So now I don't worry about it throw away the old one away and replace it with a new one
