I've never used bits like these before, but I found them very useful when drilling a hole in my wall to dissect and figure out how deep the layers of drywall, plaster, lathe, and brick went, and then to drill a couple of holes for molly bolts. They were great for larger holes in those materials than my standard drill bits were capable of making.Recommend!!
