I assumed these would have some sharpening grit in them but they’re all polyfil. That’s alright. They are heavy & work well otherwise. I should have read the description closer

These are cute, but way less functional than the other similar cushion I own. Complaints:* The gold paint on the fabric is very hard to poke through, so some regions of the pin cushions aren't functional* The base is solid -- in better cushions, it is hollowed out so the cushion extends into the base, allowing pins to be inserted further. This cushion feels very shallow; I'd like to be able to push pins in further (I wind up puttting them in sideways, rather than vertically)
