Not very sturdy and extremely cheaply made for the price. The towers only connect to each other with very flimsy and difficult to put on connectors.

We like this product. Easy to assemble, good value for the price, it's sturdy and functional. Light weight. Fits up to a size 8 in men's shoes. Not the best looking but not the worst either.

I actually do not use this in one tall tower, but have 2 stacks at the most. Because of the smaller size, I have the 2 tiers stacked on our back indoor steps leading up to our kitchen. This way, we come in, take off our shoes and put them on the shoe racks and go into the house without shoes on, so as to not track leaves, dirt, etc. into the main part of the house. I purchased more than 1 set, so right now I have lots of 2 tier's (some by the front door and because of the small size, we can open the front door all the way, yet still put some shoes tucked away there for convenience).
