This rack for the price is ok, but not really that nice to look at. I will most likely put it on my closet where I don't have to constantly see it as opposed to in the entryway. The wood grain on the top looks super fake and the shelves below are like a canvas fabric. I struggled a little assembling it because I took the pieces out of the bags they were in before I realized the pieces weren't individually labeled, only the bag. So that was quite annoying and make sure to not make my mistake if you decide to purchase. Also lost 1 of the knobs for drawers already so buyer beware. You get what you pay for!

I did not notice the top was not one piece of wood when I ordered it. Size made a difference. Sturdiness. Functional. I liked it after assembling.

I ordered this console with shoe racks for my front formal living room. When my children come in the house, they always seem to want to kick their shoes off at the end of the couch and just leave them there, though I have shoe racks in the family room off the garage that they can put their shoes in. When I saw this console, I thought it looked very stylish and well-made. From the pictures I actually thought the whole thing was made of wood and metal. However, when it arrived, I realized the drawers are made of material and maybe cardboard that look like a wood panel. The shelves are also made if a vinyl type of material. I am glad I ordered this, however there are a few flaws with it. Even though it has flaws, I sincerely love it. First thing I want to note is the directions on this thing… it is missing the step for the piece M. It took me quite a while to put this together because of the miss step in the directions and the top boards not lining up correctly. According to the directions you put the G piece into the B piece. But when I did this, I immediately noticed that the holes didn’t match up and I could not figure out what the problem was even though I had all the parts laid out on the floor in front of me… it baffled me for the longest time until I realize when I went through the complete instructions, reading them front and back and then comparing all the pieces on the floor, that there was no directions on where to put M. It became apparent that M went down into B and G went into M. More over the first step had me also scratching my head. Trying to get the two wood boards to lineup and get part D to screw down on them. For me, it just was not working. I couldn’t get the two boards to meet perfectly flush. The first time I put it together there was a huge gap about the fingers gap between the two boards. Moving the boards around and putting the screws in on an angle and holding the piece together firmly, I was able to get the boards to be almost flush. Even with all the problems, I really do love this consult with the shoe racks . It looks awesome in my formal living room. It looks like an expensive piece of furniture. You would not realize that only the top part of this is wood and only the side parts are metal… that everything else is made of a vinyl type of material. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice piece of furniture like this.

It's a really good size shoe rack, helps with keeping the entranceway clean! However, I have a few gripes with this:it wasn't as easy to assemble as it should have been, with the instructions a bit odd, but it was doable. Just take your time and go slow! I dislike that the wood grain on top doesn't match, as it's not one board, it's split in the middle. Which is fine, but the wood grain should match. Everything else works well for us, it's offering a lot of space, even hubbys boots fit in it, but they stick out. The drawers are useful to hide small stuff that doesn't have a place to go, and I enjoy having this shoe rack and shelving unit in my entranceway. It's been much less cluttered and more open. It's held up good with 2 dogs bouncing around next to it all the time!

Obsessed with this unit. It was easy to build and put together. Perfect for small spaces. The drawers work perfect for socks and under garments. I only wish I purchased the 5 tier for the height
