I ordered the 6x6 caps. We had wood caps that started to let moisture in.I love that these have decorative detail and that I have the option to paint them because they are metal.They fit snug and I didn’t have any issues putting them on or having them be loose. They come with screws to secure them.These metal post caps will preserve your posts. They will last decades longer with them.

These are very nice caps - solid and sturdy with a good-looking finish. I got these to replace some wooden caps that got damaged in a storm, and these are much nicer - think I will get some more and replace all of them.

received 4 of these yesterday. They are much nicer than the pvc one. They are well made of metal and fit nicely. Right now they are going on the front corners and gate posts. I wish i had more!

These caps fit perfectly on a nominal 6x6 wood post. They are a simple and elegant design. I spray painted them dark brown to match my deck. They come with 2 screws per cap. Fastest and easiest project that I got crossed off my list.

Very solid metal caps with a nice flair that others like it don't have.It fit over the 6X6 wood post (actual measurement (5.5X5.5) rather tightly, and has enough heft that you probably don't need to use the side set-screw, but there is a hold drilled for one and they include black screws with the kit to do so.The color is consistent - no missed spots or drips or runs. It looks like it may have been baked on (good).There's not much else to say. These are a good deal, not cheap and plastic-looking, and they keep the rain from setting on the exposed edge of post.
