I love that they are colorful, took a while for my cocktail to like them but the parakeets love them. And the sand paper, or whatever they are made from seems to last a good while.

My parakeets were hesitant at first to get on them and now they are on them all the time. Great price for 4 of them. They love to rub their beak and head on them.

My parrot is 30 years old and very VERY picky about what he puts his feet on. I wish they came with bigger washers though, I had to go buy fender washers large enough to bolt these to the cage wall.

I really like these sand perches. My cockatiel trust them. He feels uncomfortable on the smooth wooden dowels. I use a dish scrub brush to clean them. They fasten easily to any place on the bird cage bars.

Easy to use and customize all over the cage. Bright cheerful colors. They do help file my rats nails, at least for a while. Everntually I wash them and after some time they just don't do the trick anymore, but are still good ledges at that point. After about six months, a couple have come loose around the screw and have had to retire. Don't expect them to last for years. Trick to cleaning pee smell: soak in 1:3 peroxide to water for thirty minutes. Will clear the smell for at least a few weeks.
