This review is for PKDOAX 7 Way Trailer Plug Tester 12V, 7 Pin Trailer Trailer Wiring Tester, Round Trailer Light Tester with LED Light, Trailer Test Plug for Truck, Trailer, RVs - Plug & PlayThis is a great and inexpensive tester to quickly test your trailer socket wiring as well as to help diagnose issues. When a trailer light or lights aren't working, it's hard to figure out where the problem is. This device helps you rule out anything on the vehicle side - you can ensure that the right "signals" are getting to the trailer plug and then isolate it from there when there is an issue. For the cost of this, that saves you a LOT of time!I don't trailer that much so I kind of would prefer that they spell out what everything is vs a two letter code but after you've read it a couple of times it is self explanatory. Or just print out the photo with the legend and throw it in your glove box.

When I received this item, the blue sticker had come off, the sticker with the labels where the lights shine through. It is built pretty cheaply, but it is effective in what it claims to do. It accurately shows which circuits are operating.I tested it on two different trucks, each of which had one non functioning circuit (different circuit) and it worked perfectly.Removed one star for having to reaffix the sticker before being able to use it.

This is a must have if you pull a trailer. Note that this is for a RV type connector with flat blades in the connector. This is not compatible with a 7 pin semi type connector with round pins

Came quickly and was as described. Works great. I have a F350 so I needed to loosen the screw and turn the plug so the lights were on top. Works great and quicker and more convenient than multimeter.

Seems to work fine, but... When I plug it into my truck the LEDS are facing down and very hard to see.

I have a few different trailers that I let people borrow. I plug in these testers to their vehicles before I let them attach to my trailers. That way I know their wiring is correct and isn't going to do any damage to my trailers. It saves a lot of trouble and time. I recommend getting the 7 pin round and the flat tester. I got them both and connected with a couple of carabiners.
