I needed a work surface for a large watercolor project. I modified the camera tripod so that I could add a large 16"x24" surface for my watercolor paper while adding color to the drawing. It worked very well and I can still use it with my camera or other watercolor projects.

ball joint mount is poor quality and effectively useless, not recommended unless you are changing the top for other equipment

I wished I bought this tripod first when I went to the Las Vegas convention in January. I bought a different branded tripod and that other brand was nothing but a problem child. I returned it and bought this tripod. This tripod has worked so well. I paired it with a small version fluid head by Neewer. This tripod comes with a carry bag and it fits with the Neewer small size fluid head. I do not need to detached the Neewer fluid head from the tripod to fold it up and store away in tripod bag, it all fits. The tripod is light-weight yet really sturdy and allows for weighted bag to be used to weight it down in windy conditions. It seems to be made well and will not fall apart unlike my last tripod. I love how you can slide the center pole out and use it as a hand extention if needed. You can also take that center pole and attached it to one detachable leg as a monopod. You can also easy reverse install the center pole for low-lying work.I paired this tripod and fluid head with the Neewer cage for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. I do interviews and product introductions and reviews for a magazine and found the S23 Ultra phone's cameras and video are perfect. So this light-weight yet sturdy tripod compliments my setup well. No need to carry a heavy DSLR camera nor heavy camera bags. Now I can move, record, and communicate as I can post these recordings faster.

I've had a cheapie tripod for my camera for years now. I'm not a professional, but I love taking pictures. I bought the tripod wondering if I would use it enough to make it worthwhile, and I do. My cheapie has broken, so it's an excelent time for an upgrade!I love the height of this tripod! I no longer have to bend down to see my camera screen. I love the strength of the whole contraption. It looks, feels, and is sturdy. I love love love the ball joint that allows for easy adjustment of camera angles. I am thrilled about the phone attachment that means I can use my phone in conjunction with the tripod. I'm over the moon with the heck-uv-a price I got on it. ( lack Friday Sales! Yay!)I don't particularly like the locking system on the legs. Its odd, and in my opinion ineffective. I dont understand why there are 3 knobs that all appear to lock the same thing. Then again I'm not 100% sure I know what I'm talking about there, since the instructions are essentially nonexistent. The size when completely folded is bigger and heavier than I'd prefer.Negatives aside, I would absolutely recomend this tripod, just maybe not at full price.

I don't normally write reviews but this tripod deserves recognition! I spent days reading reviews and researching various tripods online. Primary features I was interested in were, ball head, high and low height, sturdiness, monopod option, and price. Most of the name brand models were pushing $300 for what I was looking for. The knock off brands were still above $100 and then I saw the ZikZok for $45. It had what I was looking for but I was VERY skeptical about the quality for one that was only $45. However, I thought I would try it and if it just turned out to be a lightweight cheapo piece of ####, at least I wouldn't be out that much money. The phrase, "You get what you pay for." isn't always true and definitely not in this case. I was impressed beyond my expectations! Everything about this tripod was exceptional. I was half expecting parts would just be cheaply made, and loose with a sloppy motion but NO, they are all tight and operate very smoothly! The ball head pan motion is very fluid and smooth. The tilt (ball and socket) also operates smoothly and holds position when snugged up. The bubble levels are okay, nothing exceptional but at least they are there (can't expect a whole lot from a simple bubble level). The quick mount has a flip grip on the mounting screw instead of just the normal straight screwdriver/coin slot for attaching to your gear which is very handy. The mount also has a couple pins on the bottom that keep it from sliding out of the quick release slot even if the quick release is not completely tightened which is also a nice feature. The legs (even though I prefer twist locks) are also very tight and operate smoothly. They are sturdy even when fully extended with very little deflection. I don't have extremely heavy gear, and don't know if I would want to put 33lbs of gear on it if it's fully extended, but I would feel very confident with 15-20lbs no problem! It also has a removable hook under the main post that can be used for hanging a weight to help stabilize the tripod in windy conditions. Another neat feature is the removable rubber foot caps. You can either have them on the legs for indoor use or remove them and expose points that help anchor the tripod. I just received this tripod so I don't have any long term knowledge but have no reason to think it won't last a good long time. The ONLY negative thing I can put in this review would be the wording of the instructions. It's clear that English isn't their primary language but hopefully most people really shouldn't need detailed instructions to use a tripod. It truly seems like this company cares about selling a high quality product at a very good price. I would highly recommend this tripod!!

This product was purchased thinking it would be a good for a light weight dslr, however it has proven to be extremely sturdy, and I have mounted a ton of attachments on it and it handles it with ease. I also purchased attachments on top and sides and it handles it with ease. Some accessories I use is extra monitors, lights, secondary camera, gambles and more. Maybe not strong enough to use with large video cameras but and dslr and small video cameras it would not have a problem.
