This set gives you the ability to sand small areas at a time, which is beneficial when dealing with edges, curves, and smaller surfaces. The set has six different grit discs - 36, 60, 80, 120, 180, and 240 - and includes 12 of each type. There are also two shanks including one "standard" shank as well as one quick-release shank (compatible with quick-release systems of drills) and the disc mount. Although it doesn't come with any instructions, assembly is straightforward as you only need to screw the bolt onto the shank and then the shank into the disc mount. Attaching/swapping out the sanding discs is similarly straightforward as they screw into the disc mount.I tried a 36-grit disc on a piece of end grain wood, and while the sanding process was slow, the disc held up well and didn't show any immediate signs of breaking down. You do have to ensure you run the drill in the forward setting as that ensures the discs will stay seated in the mount.At roughly $0.50 a disc, these represent good value, especially when you compare products of a similar nature. The only reason I'm not giving it full stars is that the shanks aren't easy to interchange, as the rotational action tightens the shank to the mount quite a bit. However, that's a small detail as I don't anticipate needing to change the shanks often (or at all), but it is something to consider.

These sanding disks are of very good quality. Comes with a disk holder and two arbors. One 1/4" round one for your air die grinder, and one hex one for your electric screwdriver.

Have used similar ones in the past and these are comparable. Great variety of different grids to work with. Take material off super-fast. I use them to clean of old gasket materials in my home auto shop. Easy to change out grids and great price for how many you get in a bag. If you break off one hard to get out of the housing.

I've come to like the roll lock accessories for the die grinder. They give you a couple of mandrels here, one that's round and one that has a hex shape. This means that you can use them on just about any tool that will accept the mandrel from a drill to a die grinder. Included as well is the packing plate which these screw into. They give you a variety of grits and the grit is paint printed on the back of the disk for quick identification. That's appreciated because they don't always do that with other brands. These are good for working small spots that larger tools can't access. I found that these hold up well and while they haven't identified the abrasive I do think that these are aluminum oxide. Overall, I think this is a pretty good deal for the number of disks that you get plus the mandrel and backing plate for it.
