I have replaced several of these over the years, and this is on-par with the quality of others I have purchased. They are easy to install and it is a match replacement for the OEM 763RL B Unit Nutone motor. Remove your old motor before ordering to verify which one you need and whether this will work.Overall, it's not the quietest motor but it works as well as the OEM unit. It's fairly easy to install and fit without issue. For the price the value is on par with the big box store replacements. I cannot attest to the durability until it has run for a few years, but I'm sure it will hold up. One thing to note is that my original fan came with a different style blade that was solid on the bottom. I have chosen in the past to use the OEM blade, and this has not been an issue. I have not found that it causes any difference in the function or sound, but I have tried to keep OEM performance as much as possible. Recommended!

Perfect fit. Definitely better than what I replaced. Took a somewhat long shower and no steam on the mirror. Like everyone else says the nuts aren't the right size so be sure to use your originals off of the old fan. Worth the purchase and works great.

So the nuts that hold the motor on are too large. Tried to tighten them and they would keep turning. Had to go to my spare parts drawer to find the smaller nuts that would fit. Motor is quiet and works well, but you're going to have to modify it to make it work.

My old bathroom fan motor had seized up and I was worried about having to replace the whole unit. Finding this replacement motor assembly was the perfect solution to my problem! It was a perfect fit for my older Nutone fan (763RL model).I'm not particularly handy, so I was concerned about the difficulty of replacing it, however the installation was surprisingly straightforward. It took about maybe 15 minutes to install. The fan moves a lot of air creating better air circulation and is definitely much quieter than my old one. All in all this is great for anyone looking to avoid a complete fan replacement.

This fan worked well and was easy to install. The unit is very quiet and it pushes a medium flow rate.Highly Recommended.

I was replacing a fan that had become noisy, vibrating badly. It is in a lower level bathroom and vibrated so badly, it was annoying on the main floor. This fan solved that but the hum seems greater than I had hoped for.Most annoying was that the long bolts and nuts that fasten the motor to the frame were loose when it arrived so the motor was flopping around on the frame. Attempting to tighten them, I discovered that the lock nuts did not match the thread of the bolts. Luckily, I had some nuts that fit properly that have nylon inserts and that solved the problem.

Gives you what you need to replace a fan. May not be an exact fit, but I was able to use with some engineering to get to fit. Much quieter and should buy me another 10 plus years.

My 13year-old NuTone (MODEL 763RLM) fan assembly has been making a considerable racket for some time. The dust and run cycles have built up over time and it was a loud and unpleasant noise when using. I was thankful to find this exact replacement and extend the life of the fixture without significant work to install another. I also really like fixing things vs. replacing things, makes me feel better about being frugal and environmentally conscious.I previously ordered a different fan replacement product for a different fan and the install was a total pain. I had to modify the enclosure and get the Dremel out and make a trip to the hardware store to make it work. I was reluctant to get started on this but I was very pleasantly surprised.This product shipped in a no-frills box, and I dont recall seeing any printed instructions. Luckily, it was a drop into place install. I was able to remove the old fan assembly and install this one. The whole process took about 20 min, including cleanup and testing. My only negative feedback is that there are two small nuts on the fan bracket that were not the right size. When I attempted to tighten them up (they shipped loose) they kept backing up the threads (See Picture, two black bolts, silver nuts on picture #3). Luckily, I used the old nuts from the OEM fan, and they threaded on the bolts perfectly.This was really easy install, and so far I'm happy with the air movement and the noise of the fan. This is a winner in my book!
