The sencer clips need to be cleanly put on the injector pipe near the sender and on the sender body. The entire sender body/clamp/nuts muts be isolated from everything else. The sencer is only clamped around the injector pipe and not touching anything else. When the engine running, and the unit is hooked up correctly, and the other clips are hooked up to power, the box flashes a LED showing timing flashes . I had to try 3 different timing lights to get one that would flash with this unit. 1989 F250 7.9L IDI has TDC and advanced timing marks on the a on a plate connected to the engine.

Works well clamped right above stock factory Piezo. Clips on leads could be better though.Battery clips way bigger than needed so they're cumbersomeSensor clip in yellow boot also too big and boot slips on rounded profile of clip making it tough to deal with.Once connected, did seem to give pretty stable pulse for Bosch timing light.Used on 7.3 idi

The instructions were dismal. Chinese English. The only connection diagram given, showed how it was delivered, not how it was used. After I had worked out how to connect it the results were very disapointing. Sometimes it showed the correct injection point, sometimes the injection point of a different cylinder, sometimes just random points. All in a very unstable sequence. If I had not known roughly the correct injection point this thing would have been almost totally useless.
