Even when my engine was running poorly, it would always start by second pull. New carb will not start engine at all unless I squirt gasoline in throat of carb. Then engine runs great.

Fought with the old carburetor for a couple of hours - installed the new one in 1/4 of that time & it started on the second pull. Very happy!

Works Extremely Well; Fired Right Up!That said, I would like to have a conversation with the Briggs design team of that day. LOL

Updated. It fit 126T02/0299-B1. And engine starts one pull when cool. But if you stop engine while it is running, if you stop, it won't start. You have to wait for the engine to coolReplaced this with another one from Amazon, the problem goes awayProve this carburator has some bad problem.

This did the trick! I tried multiple other items: fresh oil, new spark plug, drain old gas and add new, clean filter, even tried cleaning buildup on old carburetor with no luck. This new carburetor came in, easy to install and my mower started right up.This was for a 126T02 fitment on a Craftsman 675 Briggs & Stratton (917.370620) lawnmower. When installing, I took the gas line off the carburetor side and just curled it upward so I didn't have to empty the tank again.
