This little instrument did help me greatly in cleaning up my aquarium by showing TDC, EC, and CF. those came down a bunch with cleaning filters and vacuuming and big water changes. It gives you the feedback when you make water changes that we love to see. i think i will always need one of these to continue as an aquarist, and wish had it for many years.Careful to insert the 4th sensor wire! there are no directions that tell you to plug in this probe, that looks like a simple wire in the box. I missed it and thought the temperature measurement was defective.
