These worked perfectly for a vintage metal cider and two chairs! Size was perfect. Only slight problem I had putting them on…..figured out I need to squeeze them and get them warm. Once I figured out the trick, they all popped right into place.

I ordered these replacement plastic pads for my 30 year old wrought iron patio set. They were difficult to install but that was partly the fault of rust on the chairs. Once we finally got them installed they seem to be working well. Hint: it helps if you rub a little petroleum jelly on the rim of the components prior to installing.

They fit very snuggle they way they should be. I removed the old cap that only have the ring left over using screwdriver, clean off the inner edge well. With a soft head hammer, I lightly tap them in keeping it nice and flat, some go in easily, some have one edge in but the other edge sticks up - pop it out again and reposition to tap it in. I broke one out of 20, so it is ok since there are 24 in a pack. Happy to find replacement, so I don't get rusty rings or scratch my newly stained deck and still keep my steel patio set.
