Don't waste your money on these, they're so thin I'd be surprised if they last more than a couple uses.

These work good. I put them in all my drawers to make them accessible

I LOVE these. I grew up in a house that had these in the kitchen, but in the years since I never really saw them anywhere to buy. These are so great. Not just for the kitchen, but anywhere you need some traction or texture to get a grip on something, or open a container etc. So glad to have these back in my kitchen arsenal.

I have small, not very strong hands so opening anything is often a struggle. For regular metal-lid, glass jars, I know that inserting the tip of a grapefruit spoon or other pointy spoon just under the lip of the jar and pushing up until you hear the seal break will immediately open the jar but there are plenty of other jars or containers that I just can’t get a grip on. Using a towel or paper towel or tongs just don’t work. But these rubber grippers really do. It gives you that extra bit of help required to open the peanut butter or ketchup lid, among many other containers.I’m keeping one of these on my counter, on the table and in the bathroom. I often look around for something to help me securely grip something to open it. Now I’ll have just what I need right at hand.

I mean, it’s what you expect in quantity. These are the jar opening grips companies used to give out at conferences but no longer do. They were always one of the few little giveaways my wife appreciated me bringing home. They just dry and rot out after a while. These do seem a bit more supple, so hopefully they’ll last a little longer.

These do exactly what they claim to do. They give you the grip you need to open jars and bottles. And it works. Use one to open a stubborn jar. Use two (one on the lid, one on the container) to open an even more stubborn jar. You get several, so you can stash them all over your kitchen (or where ever else you open things). I recommend them.

These are excellent rubber grippers! They are easy to use and oh so effective! They are useful when opening jars or prying off stubborn lids from containers. We have a tea pitcher when the lid is inserted in the pitcher it is nearly impossible to lift the lid off. With this rubber gripper, I was able to lift the lid off the pitcher easily on the first try! The order came with 8 grippers at a very reasonable price of $7 currently. I highly recommend this set of rubber grippers!

I admit that I do not have a monster grip, but I take exception to the characterization of my hands as *weak*! ;) I sometimes have a hard time opening bottles are jars, especially if they are cold and wet from condensation or my hands are slippery from wet or moisturizer. These are reminiscent of the jar grippers my parents had in their house when I was growing up, and they work well. The 6.5 inch diagonal size of the square ones makes them big enough to tackle the lid of the protein powder jar. Having at least two means I can use one to hold the body of a jar and the other to grip the top. I really don't need 8 of these things, but the quantity is good for the price. The colors are nice.
