This is my first time trying scratch art and I really enjoyed it. There isn't any type of directions or instructions included so if this is your first time experimenting, it's pretty intuitive. I found it relaxing and a good way to spend some chill time.There were 2 minor detractors for me:#1) the constant brushing away of the remnants left behind from the action of scratching off the black 'film'. It's not a deal breaker, it's just a nuisance (especially if you suffer from any type of OCD).#2) as someone who is very scent sensitive, I found the smell from the cards to be an irritant.Since this was my first time doing scratch art, I didn't know if this was commonplace or something specific to this particular item so I ordered several kits from 3 different prominent manufacturers and what I found was there is a stark contrast between this manufacturer and the other three. While each of them did have a smell, I literally had to put my nose against the individual page in order to smell anything. Whereas with this item, the smell is very strong and pungent (think along the lines of fuel oil or gasoline) and it is noticeable as soon as the plastic wrap is removed from the packet containing the scratch cards.For that reason only, I'm reducing my overall review rating because I still think that scratch art is a good way to relax and spend your time.

I tried scraping one of these, and it was so relaxing! Focusing on the scratching process really helped take my mind off boring things and calmed me down

I got these scratch art kits for my child for her birthday, she really likes the bright colors, it keeps her busy for a while each day and also relatively reduces the time she spends using electronic screens, this is really very great I will definitely repurchase it again .
