Your cart is empty.The Algo 8188 is a PoE Wideband Voice over IP ceiling speaker designed for voice paging, notification alerting (e.g. safety, security, emergency events, OSHA, etc.), and background music. This endpoint registers as a third party SIP device into a hosted or premise UC environment. The speaker is suited for air handling spaces in a drop ceiling (UL2043) such as schools, hospitals, offices, etc. or as a suspended speaker, such as in retail and grocery stores. The Algo 8188 supports RTP multicast, Poly Group Page and Syn-Apps SA-Announce. Any number and combination of Algo IP speakers, paging adapters and strobes can be used with multicast for more comprehensive large scale enterprise or campus deployments. The Algo 8188 supports full zoning capabilities. Talkback is supported (2-way communication), plus ambient noise monitoring provides automatic volume control of the speaker based on background noise levels. Requires Power over Ethernet. If PoE is not available, use PoE Injector. Does not support direct power connection - PoE Only. See manufacturer's website for specifications, new features, and required firmware updates. Web-based programming UI or supports remote provisioning. A basic understanding of computer networking and Voice over IP experience is highly recommended.

I have used the ALGO paging horns in projects for years. Love them. This was the 1st we have used the Ceiling Mounted Speakers. Setup is the same. Which is why I love them. Easy to configure. Volume adjustments Perfect. Crystal Clear Sounding. But it took me at least 30 minutes of Fighting and Bending the CHEAP metal cover to get it to fit. One I has to break the side to squeeze it in to get it to snap in. I can't imagine if I have to remove one in the future it it will ever go back in place. Quality Control needs some help on this one.
