These alligator clips are well made and the wire is good quality. These are good when you want to power a device from a stand alone battery or when you want to use them for diagnostic purposes. I like the built-in fuse protection. The plug end can be used as is or replaced with any plug that is appropriate the the device you need to power up. 5 stars.

I have a lot of 12V gadgets I use, especially when camping, and usually I want to connect directly to the car battery to avoid tripping cigarette lighter fuses. Other times I need to hook up an inverter, which has battery-like terminals. For all that you need the alligator clips on this cable set-up. The clips work well. They're not heavy duty, I wouldn't use them with anything that draws a lot of current. But for typical small 12V gadgets and smaller power banks these do the job perfectly. The cable is thick enough for this kind of light duty, and I've found the SAE connector is the best way to mix and match different 12V cable connectors, gadgets, and power sources. Very handy to have.

This YUEARN 8.2FT/2.5M SAE to Alligator Clips Wire Harness with 12V Switch works excellently on an RV. Not only can you hook a trickle-charger up to it, but you can also feed many different 12-volt items off of your battery.It is made well. The clips are strong, and the switch works solidly. This will remain in my RV, and I'm sure it will be useful for many years.

Ordered this YUEARN 8.2FT/2.5M SAE to Alligator Clips Wire Harness with 12V Switch to go into my accessory pouch inside a lithium ion battery box I built mostly from Vine components. Let me just start by saying some of these products do not include a fuse but are meant to connect directly to a battery or source with alligator clips, that is dangerous and illegal. This product properly includes a fuse inline with the positive terminal. It is a 10A fuse which is better for 16 gauge wire, 15A as mentioned in the description will most likely work but it would get hot under max load. I really think 10A is a better cut off point for a product like this and give the seller credit for that choice.This is a well made harness, the clips are secure and the insulation is thick. Functionally the SAE to Alligator clip design is my favorite as it is very versatile and can be used in lots of applications. 8 feet is plenty long enough for most applications as well. DC voltage drops with distance so you want thicker wire if going longer distances. I like the inclusion of a 12v switch as that just adds more versatility.One of the better wiring harnesses available at a very reasonable price and easily earns this 5 star review.
