Installation :The kit plugs directly inline with your factory left handlebar up/down Large GREEN 10 Wire matching connector goes up front under front fender on front frame rail then plug in the shift motor to the matching kit factory stock plug. 2001 Honda Rancher 350 ES, for some reason there was no power being sent to my shift motor from the computer even with a new computer. Nothing seemed to fix it. Opted to go with this option and since i already had most of the plastic off the ATV installing was easy. It was a little confusing that there are grey plugs at the front and this part has grey plugs, but they plug into the green plugs not the grey ones. Seems like they could make the colors match.After connecting the part to the battery i was finally able to hear the Click-Click of the gear motor shifting the gears again. i have yet to ride it to see how the shifting works as OEM but so far this is a great product for me.

If you have a rancher 350es it will work for you simple as going under front plastic unplugging the shifter(handle buttons)(green plug) plugging it into the adapter then other side into the other connector detached then unplug white/clear connector to the left that goes to shifter motor. Run it back to the battery and boom it started shifting. Only annoying part is if your dash blinks if a fault code it might continue blinking as this is a bypass but no more worrying about it not shifting.

I have a 1999 Honda TRX400FW. Well unfortunately the electronics module finally went out which is made of unobtainium! Slapped this little bypass harness in and bam back in business. Everything is plug and play! Good quality and factory plugs

2005 Honda Rancher 350 ES would occasionally get stuck in reverse or other random gears. This product has solved that issue. The display does now flash the gear, which normally would indicate an error, but it functions like it should. No more being stranded or having to get out the manual shift foot lever.

I was asked to give a review even tho I'd rather not. This harness didn't work for my 2001 Honda Rancher 350 ES-FE. It did make it shift into 1st gear and reverse but nothing else. Second after going by this harness es directions, when I plug it into where it said, it knocked out all the digital readings bf it would even shift those two gears. I honestly think the relays are wrong for this model. I've never seen where u had to sacrifice the reading for the shifting and then only getting two gears. Just saying what I experienced with this particular harness.
