This is actually a nicely made piece. It will fit good and work great if your measurements match up. It seemed like it would have fit good on my f350 but it sticks out too far for my liking from the hitch itself and so I went with the factory ford piece instead. If I would have needed this for a different application than hauling my camper around it would be great but after putting my receiver inside my receiver was longer than this reducer and I just didn’t like the thought of that.

I have seen some reviews saying the adapter fit too tightly in the receiver and could get stuck. It is the opposite for me on my 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with factory hitch. It actually has a little too much clearance, but it doesn't effect it's function. The collar on the adapter that keeps it from sliding too far in doesn't fit flush with the receiver hitch either. It doesn't cause a problem on my hitch, but it's possible that it might keep some hitches from sliding in far enough for the retaining pin to go through. I have a receiver plug that won't go in far enough to slide the pin through.

Highly recommend purchasing this reduce and it is at a great price, well worth buying!Easy to use just install or remove as needed! I would recommend lightly greasing (White Lithium Grease) the inside and outside of the reducer and pin. Because aluminum and steel don't like being next to each other! And for those who might ask! The 2 metals is highly corrosive with oxygen is added in from the air or water!

No complaints other than I'm glad I heeded the advice found about putting lithium grease all over this thing before installing. It rusted pretty quickly and if you don't use grease it will become a permanent fixture in your hitch.
