Got this for our Highlander, it was still running the original 2014 map data, this is a worthy upgrade, more coverage and it is nice to have updated maps. Definitely recommended!

There were no instructions with the updated map card but it was fairly simple to install. I have a 2018 Toyota Tacoma and I performed the following steps. Note some steps may not be needed but wanted to share them all just in case.1. Start up the car. It was hot so I needed the A/C.2. Using my finger nail, popped out the memory card cover from the left side. There is a hanger on the right side to keep it from falling. (See picture)3. Gently pushed the old memory card to pop it out. At this time, I noticed the map disappeared from the audio screen.4. Popped in the new replacement memory card. Right away the audio player noticed the update. It asked me to park in a safe place and restart the car. I was already parked and did NOT restart the car.5. It auto restarted the audio system and started the update. This took about 5-10 mins. Wasn’t paying attention to the time. See attach image for screen output.6. After it completed it auto restarted the audio system again and it was done.I then took my truck to a newer intersection by my house where it didn’t previously have the right info and this time it did. Simple and effective upgrade. Wish I would had done it sooner for the wife who sometimes will drive my truck.

Easy self install, just plug in and simply allow the radio to do the rest. Great updates compared to my old one!

I used this today the maps on the factory nav system in my 2017 Toyota 4Runner. My previous maps were using 2016 data. I followed their instructions of taking the old SD card out and replacing it with this new one. After I started the vehicle, I was presented with a screen stating that a software update was available. It said to turn off the vehicle and then back on, however I chose not to do that and just left the vehicle running. After clicking the OK button on the screen, it started doing the install and it took about 7 minutes for it to complete. It then restarted and everything works as before except I’ve got new updated maps. Definitely worth the small price compared to buying it from Toyota.

Modifying this was my fault. Reinstalled and updated fine. Maps are up to date. No problems so far
