I've messed with some really cheap video cameras. This was better than those. While it doesn't quite feel like a professional grade camera, it comes a lot closer than most of the offerings I've seen. The image quality is pretty good. Low light recording is excellent. The optical zoom is great. I'm not a fan of digital zoom. This camera has a bit more automation and a bit less manual control than I generally care for, but overall I'm pretty happy with it. Now I want to find 1000 non-traditional uses for it.

This is a very nice startup camera. Great for beginners. It has lots of accessories. My 11yr old uses it for YouTube and to document his projects. It has a lot of the same functions as my canon. I’m amazed by all the attachments that came with it.
