This came well packaged, nothing was broken all 8 trailer headlights were working. Value was good for product; easily installed and bright.

You get what you pay for. The rubber is barely flexible enough to install and pushing the lights In the grommet, I had one Crack and the other lense pop right off. Needless to say. They went right on the garbage

I have a liftgate on my Dually truck. There is a flat bar where a bumper used to be which looks like the rear of trailer behind a semi-truck. It has four holes, with the two outermost ones the running/brake/turn signal and the inner two are the backup lights. The holes are made to accept 4" lights with a rubber surround.I am currently limited in my mobility. By the grace of my family, they help me set up things on my workbench. Hopefully, by spring, these and a dozen other projects will either be started or done and dusted.I have an original light from my liftgate, with a little bit of use, but it was pulled to put on a matched pair of incandescent lights from Tractor Supply. This was back when nobody knew what LED even meant. The other light fell apart after a teensey little bump from a loaders bucket. The truck only moved a couple feet. Such cheap stuff! We put the OEM incandescent light on the bench for comparison purposes. One the bench was also a 60 Watt 12 volt LED power supply. The specs for the OEM were .4 Amps/5 Watts for the running light and 1.75 Amps/21 Watts for the brake/turn signal lights. When you stepped on the brake, both lights stayed on for a total draw of 2.15 amps. The new LED, specs were 04 AMPS/.48 Watts for the running lights and .24 Amps/2.88 Watts for the brake/turn signal drew. When the running lights were on and you stepped on the brake, the draw for the brake remained at .24 Amps, meaning they probably bypassed something internally that dimmed the lights to turn on the brake light brightness. That means the OEM running light drew 10 times the LED light. The OEM brake light drew over 7 times as much as the LED. It isn’t like you’ll see a gas savings using LED lights, but I thought it was interesting. It also opens the possibility of doing something like using 6 lights without changing the wiring.Comparing the running lights, the LED had an edge. The big difference was in the brake lights. The LED were much brighter. How much brighter? It really doesn’t matter because depending on your perception and what you are replacing, it could be brighter or BRIGHTER. LED lights are brightest when viewed directly, like somebody following you. That is one reason that I left the existing lights in the fenders. They can be seen from most any angle. The lights each come with a connector with plenty of lead to hook up to your old harness. You can unplug the light while you connect the wires. Be aware that WHITE is ground and has a ring crimped on it. BLACK is regular running light, RED is the bright stop and/or turn signal. Make peace with that and you are good to go.I do want to note, replacing your regular lights with LED on some vehicles can cause the flashers to either not flash or go into what is known as Hyper-flashing, where they blink like crazy. LED lights can also cause a warning on your dash. None of these are the ‘fault’ of the LED and can be fixed. You just need to look up your vehicle if this happens and find the cure.I gave these 5 stars. They are bright, I feel like they will get someone’s attention. The plug on the light works well and has plenty of lead to work with. They are durable. (I was curious about the review that said the rubber was bad and the lights fell apart too easily. I was popping the rubber gasket off of one of these lights to see if it was flexible. Uh, yeah, they are. I shot the light across the worksurface and it survived a fall of 3 feet to the concrete floor.) They are economical. With 8 lights, that means my car dolly will get a pair, my small flat bed will get a pair, and my little utility trailer will get the last pair.

This set of eight LED tail lights is a great value. Obviously for most trailers you're going to need maybe four of these at most, but heck, I can find use for extra lights. When I received these, I got out my bench power supply and tested the whole lot of them to measure power draw, consistency, and of course to ensure all the LEDs worked. At 14V (average of what my cars produce when running), all of these lights were practically identical in light output and power draw, using 4.1W across the board. One pulled 4.0W, but couldn't really see a difference in light output.I then started lowering the voltage, and they significantly dim at around 7V before going out entirely below 6V. Of course, if your truck is only producing 6V, you're either driving a Model T, a tractor, or you have bigger problems than your trailer lights not lighting. The wiring is simple, with a red, white and black wire. The white is neutral/ground and comes with a ring terminal for possibly the tiniest screw ever, so you might need to whack that off and replace it. On a boat trailer, I wouldn't even try to ground to the frame anyway. The red wire is the "high" and black is the "low" output, for stop and tail light functions, respectively. Both work and nothing bad happens if you connect up both red and black at the same time, as expected and required for these to work correctly. All the lenses appear to be good quality, and come with anti-scratch film applied. Same stuff you see on phone screens or radio displays when you get them out of the box. Underneath that, the lenses are shiny and smooth, with no signs of waviness or faults. The flexible plastic surround is very stiff and I could definitely see issues getting these popped into a trailer light bracket, but I suspect part of that is the temperature right now. Probably heating up the rings before installation would help a lot with installation. All in all, with the caveat that I haven't been using these for years yet, I can recommend these fully for any trailer that needs a round tail light.

The red lense breaks off easily and the rubber is so stiff. Not worth the money

These lights are a very great product to purchase. I was able to install them with ease. No issues when connecting them onto my utility trailer. They are very bright in color and the size is perfect, very large and noticeable. I would definitely make this purchase again if needed.
