The installation steps of different blade adapter kits
1. This brush cutter blade has a 1-inch hole in the center, which is suitable for most straight shaft gas trimmer. Brush cutter blade diameter is 9 inch&10 inch. Arbor Bore Size is 1 inch. Blade Teeth is 20T&80T. Fit most brush cutter or weed trimmer.
2. These brush blades fit most gas straight shaft trimmers with an arbor size of 1 inch.
3. Just need to connect weed blade to the shaft punch of the mower. Simply select the correct adapters according to your different weeding machine models:
- Get your string trimmer ready
- Place our brush cutter blade (or place Thrust plate guard washer (6 teeth) before)
- Place the thrust washer.
- Place the rider plate and collar nut.
- Tighten the collar nut.
- The installation has been completed.
4. Check your models before buy, make sure the blades fit your model.

Make sure the blade is properly centered with the washer before tightening the nylon lock nut, reverse thread too. The side with the words is up, so rotation direction is correct. Crank it and make sure it isn’t vibrating bad, a sign it is off center. Very easy to install and go back to string head. Wish I had it before for the heavier stuff by the pond.

This bundle is a great value with two adapter kits and two blades. Allf of the parts appear to be of good quality. Unfortunately neither of the adapters work with the DeWalt DCST972 Trimmer (DCST972b / DCST972X1). The supplied adapters use a star pattern. One is 6 tooth and one is 10 tooth. The Dewalt spindle doesn't have star grooves it's more of a D shape so there is no way to make this kit work wtih it.
