I love making homemade fried chicken or orange chicken, but the frying process is very tedious and slow. This basket makes it infinitely easier to do and makes things go by a lot faster. It's pretty easy to clean and to take the handle off when needed. Fits perfectly in our crab pot that we use for frying.

Love this product but you do have to be careful in how you remove it from the pot. It can collapse into the folding position, which when you have it full of hot, fried food, is not a good thing.

Just what I needed to do some deep frying. Stainless steel construction means no pealing of any chrome plating on cheaper plain steel baskets. Issue with handle but it folds and stores easily. Fits my cast iron 5 qt using an induction cooktop.

Found the handle to be unstable and was worried it would collapse when it was full of hot food. The fact that it collapses is great for storage but not hot food. I wired it in place with a thin piece of wire and it works great. I put it in the dish washer to clean.

This is a great basket. Its sturdy and can do chips at one go for the whole family. It didnt fit into my 22cm pan though because of the resting piece on its side. So had to buy 24cm pan to be able to use. It fits perfect as you can see on my picture.

There are no instructions regarding assembling the handle. I think I've figured it out but it seems very loose and wobbly, which does not provide any comfort in thinking that I'm going to be handling this near very hot oil. This could be a deal breaker for this basket; I might have to find something with a sturdier handle. It is one of the few I found that is stainless steel but it sucks that it's made in China when I'm trying to buy American. The rest of the basket seems ok; it's the handle that is definitely giving me second thoughts.

The best deep frying basket on the market. I am very satisfied with it. It is studier than the other ones I have seen. Also, it is the only all stainless steel deep frying basket there is. The other ones are nickel and they rust. I wanted to find the best basket to use with my stainless steel dutch oven for frying, and I did. No reason to look anywhere else. If you want a basket for stovetop deep frying, this is it. I recommend it.

This basket is substantial stainless steel grid. I purchased it to fit in my enameled cast iron dutch oven and it works well. I like the hanging clip which again fits on the edge of my pan without causing damage to the enamel, allowing oil to drain off the food. The ease of cleaning is another plus, it fits in the dishwasher, should there be food that sticks a five minute soak in the sink with a clothing dryer sheet dislodges any food clinging to the mesh and then I put it in the dishwasher.
