item broke in package, barely have enough edge to grab anything, and if do you cant tighten as mechanism will come loose

I do a lot of woodworking and having clamps are a great set of extra hands. I checked the square on these and they are right on. They are heavier than you think and hold your project tightly. Great addition to your collection of clamps

I liked the smaller clamping ability and accuracy of the clamping. I used them for framing pictures. I was concerned about the screw clamps and how they are fastened but worked fine for my first several projects.
