This is an enormously bright light. Which is exactly what I wanted. And it's reliable. And who doesn't like that? But it has its challenges. To make so much light it has to be physically big itself, and it is. It's physically an armful. And also, due to its multi-sided shape, it's somewhat awkward to hold, hoist and fix in place. This is not your grand dad's 100 Watt incandescent.I've had it up and running for about five weeks, during mostly inclement weather, and yet it has burned reliably through it all. Its motion sensor mode works splendidly -- IF you can get the light positioned just right. And "just right" mostly means: the right distance off the ground. You see, there is a pre-aimed motion detector built into the light. Only when the light is raised to its "sweet spot" as defined by distance off the ground does the detector function properly. So what is this magic distance, this sweet spot? The online description says 10 to 23 feet, while the manual that comes with the light states 18 to 28 feet. Okay?As I mentioned earlier, I've had my light up and running for some time, but not at any lofty 10 to 28 feet. I chose instead to attach it to a (pre-existing) 8 foot light pole. I wanted to test it out a while to see if a higher pole was really necessary and/or if it made enough light to be worth the trouble anyway. My conclusions? This light is definitely worth whatever it takes to get it positioned correctly. And I won't stop until I've achieved that goal. I've decided to split the difference between the two minimum specs, that is, halfway between 10 and 18 feet, or around 14 feet. That's 14 feet above the ground, mind you, with additional pole beneath the surface buried in concrete. So, it's a fine light, well-worth its price, imo, but installation can be challenging. If you have a pre-existing light pole between 10 and 28 feet, then you're in like flint. Either that or hire somebody to do it for you.

I recently installed the 9000W Solar Street Lights in my commercial parking lot, and I am thoroughly impressed with their performance. These lights are a perfect blend of high efficiency, durability, and smart technology. Here’s a breakdown of my experience:1. Ultra Large and Powerful Lighting: The 9000W capacity is perfect for large outdoor areas. These lights are incredibly bright, providing excellent illumination across a wide area. Whether it’s for parking lots, streets, or large gardens, the coverage is outstanding. The ultra-large size makes them suitable for commercial spaces, providing both security and visibility throughout the night.2. Wide Angle Design: The wide-angle design ensures that the light is dispersed evenly across a large area. This makes it ideal for lighting up expansive spaces without the need for multiple lights. I love how the entire parking lot is evenly lit with minimal dark spots.3. Energy-Efficient & Eco-Friendly: Being solar-powered, these lights are not only energy-efficient but also environmentally friendly. They charge throughout the day and automatically turn on at dusk, running through the night without any issues. I’ve seen a significant reduction in my electricity bill, and it's great to know I’m contributing to reducing my carbon footprint.4. Motion Sensor Technology: The built-in motion sensor adds an extra layer of convenience and security. When someone approaches, the lights brighten automatically, which is a fantastic feature for parking lots or streets where security is a priority. The motion sensor helps conserve energy during periods of inactivity, as the light dims when no motion is detected.5. IP66 Waterproof Rating: Living in an area that experiences heavy rain, I was concerned about the lights holding up. The IP66 rating ensures that these lights are waterproof and can withstand harsh weather conditions. They’ve held up incredibly well in rainstorms, and I have no worries about their durability.6. Easy Installation: The lights come with everything needed for installation, and I found it to be a simple process. No complicated wiring or professional assistance was required, making the setup hassle-free.7. Long-Lasting and Low Maintenance: These solar lights are built to last, requiring little to no maintenance. The solar panels charge efficiently, and the LED lights are bright and long-lasting, saving both time and money in the long run. Conclusion: If you’re looking for a reliable, energy-efficient, and powerful lighting solution for large outdoor spaces, the 9000W Solar Street Lights are an excellent choice. They provide bright, reliable illumination with smart features like motion sensing, and their weatherproof design ensures longevity. Whether for commercial or residential use, these lights are a great investment!

It's very bright and built very well out of good quality materials. It's pretty lightweight for it's size. It comes with a pole to mount it off of a building, but not a pole to put in the ground. It does come with all the mounting gear for a pole though. I got this to light up our front yard which is quite large and what I refer to as our field. My four kids and I like to play out late in the summers, and so having that extra light in the evening is awesome. It's even more useful in the winter when the days are short. It is mostly easy to install with the right tools, know how, and either a pole or good ladder. The battery life seems pretty good. I don't use it all night, but it was able to charge on a cloudy day, so I was pretty impressed. I like the different settings on it. It's a great value and more versatile and functional than getting a regular street light put in our yard. I like that I'm able to move it and control it via remote.

The c clamp section of the light is thin metal. You must have a minimum of 3 inch diameter pipe to attach the light to it. Other than that this is a great light. Works great and will light up a large area.

So many of these solar outdoor parking garage lights look the same in the listing but this one is huge and very bright. Much larger than others I have, this one is quite blinding at full blast. The body is a quality plastic frame with aluminum mounting bracket that feels quite sturdy. Definitely one of the nicest of these I've installed. The remote works well to cycle through the various power and color options. The solar panel area appears well sealed against the elements but only time will tell how it holds up. Out of the box it seems sturdy and is certainly very bright.
