Great hook to hand bird feeder onto branches. Held up well even after heavy winds.

Panacea is a brand I rely on for many gardening items. This length keeps me from having to use several shorter hooks.

Wanted a plant hanger at least 36 inches long for hanging bird feeders on a large maple tree in my back yard. Haven't been able to find the longer ones at the big box stores. (I'd buy a 48 inch one if they made them.) This sturdy hanger has the 4 inch wide hook at one end which conveniently fits over a thick tree branch and a smaller hook at the opposite end for your hanging basket or feeder. Its exactly what I have been looking for and have been unable to find locally. One or 2 long hangers to access branches 15 ft high is a better solution than a series of short hangers.

A sturdy hook extending down from a solid branch can be a helpful place to secure a multitude of items. I use mine to stage a 'TaoTronics Rechargeable Bedside Lamp' out in the back yard, above my garden. High winds come and go but the lamp stays put, right where it was placed. When the lamp isn't needed, the hook end of the metal hanger can be used to stage a portable AM/FM radio out of the way and not cluttering on any of the tables. This item also comes in useful for relatives (young and old) that feel an impromptu performance of some old country song is needed at one of the BBQ's (...exit stage left, if you know what I mean).Whatever your purposes, this product will hold up as it is constructed of thicker steel and coated well with a black paint to prevent rust.Hang high or hang low, but please, hang responsibly!

C'est exactement ce que je cherchais pour accrocher ma mangeoire à oiseau après ma gouttière pour empêcher les écureuils de manger dedans.

Did what they said it would. Only 4 stars because of the excess packaging for one let alone 4 I ordered all arrived wrapped seperately. For a low cost item it could have saved a fortune on wrapping and for the environment (nothing could go wrong with the product unless it arrived bent)

ADDICTION WARNING: I bought one to just try it, then two more, then just one more, now four more on order. I still love my regular bird feeder pole but there is something so natural about seeing birds in trees feeding. I, also, no longer have unused feeders stored in my garage. They are being put to good use now.We have lived in our house for many years and I have a collection of bird feeders that just proved too heavy for any pole that I have purchased. When I saw these hooks I decided I would use our old maple tree to try to make use of my feeders. The hooks are sturdy and the side of the hook that goes over the branch will accommodate a pretty large limb. I wanted to hang the feeders up high and therefore needed to use a pole to slide the hooks over the branches. I have included a few pictures. You many recognize the feeders as they are large and very heavy when filled. They are dwarfed by our large tree. It also makes me feel good that this hundred year old maple is serving a purpose during the winter months and that the birds have cover and are happy, too.
