Overall: Both products are well made, all brass, bright, red laser bore sights that were easy to use and come in a durable storage tin.Included contents: One brass .22 caliber red laser bore sight, one brass 9mm caliber red laser bore sight, one metal storage tin and 12 LR41 batteries, 12 O-rings 20 insulation stickers and two instruction sheets.Dimensions: The .22 caliber bore sight measures 3.27”L x 0.208” diameter on the thin end with the other end being the size of a standard .223/5.56 cartridge. The 9mm bore sight is the size of a standard 9mm Luger/Parabellum cartridge.Fit & Finish: Both have all brass construction, with rubber O-rings on the .22 caliber bore site. No rough or sharp spots. Threads for the battery compartments turn smoothly on both. The .22 cal. fits into the muzzle end and I able to use it on my barrel without removing its standard A2 flash hider. The .22 cal. bore sight also fit perfectly in my .223 Wylde chamber allowing use from the breech end with the bolt open. The 9mm fit perfectly in the breech of my SIG Sauer P365 and allowed for the bolt to close. Both red lasers are bright and well centered in their respective cartridges. Overall, excellent fit and finish on both.Function: Both red lasers are bright and work well for bore sighting. The .22 cal. is designed to be used from the muzzle end and comes with three sets of three O-rings to allow for use in 22LR/22cal, 223 Rem, 6mm smoothbore and .243cal/6mm with rifling. The .22 cal. takes three batteries and the 9mm takes two. Both lasers turn on when the batteries are inserted and the case screwed closed and stay on until the batteries are removed or one of the insulation stickers are used to break the circuit. Using the supplied insulation stickers allow you to store the batteries in the device without draining them. The batteries can alternatively be taken out and stored in the included storage tin.Value: Cost at this review is $21.99 for both laser bore sights (April 2025) and I feel the product is a good value at this price point.

This does a great job to help zero in your sights, green dot optic, or green laser. I emphasize green, because if it’s red, it’s hard to differentiate the two. I used the 9mm to zero in a laser mounted to my gun and it was so much faster and cheaper than dialing it in at the range. I just set a target at about 50 feet and dueled it right in. I used it to make a slight adjustment to my red dot sight on a ar-15 .22 and it worked just fine, but harder to do with two red dots. These work great and come with plenty of batteries. Save time, save ammo with these.

Excellent value here for not just one, but two brass laser bore sights – one for .22 caliber and one for 9mm caliber. Fits my Sig P320. Very well-made with solid brass, perfect screw threading, and O-rings. Also comes with 12 batteries, when only three are needed for the .22 and only two are needed for the 9mm – so I have extras to last me a long time. Extra O-rings provided, too. When I insert the batteries and screw them back together, their lasers come on. Nice bright red lasers, perfectly centered in the sights, very helpful for adjusting my sights. Insulation stickers can be used to break the circuit when I’m done using them if I want to leave the batteries stored in them. Comes with good instruction sheets with clearly explained, colored illustrations and directions. Everything comes in a small tin like the kind mints come in. Great for storing them.

Saves you money by "getting on paper" before you go out and start throwing away bullets. It comes with multiple batteries and a convenient little tin to keep it all together. It also has extra O-rings in the event you tear one. A bore sight with missing O-rings is a paperweight. I did try to experiment with the stem type laser on a couple AR style rifles with a silencer mounting lugs and there was not clearance. Still it does mostly what a bore sight is supposed to do and that is get you started to your destination.

Just Ok. Nothing special. The mounting stem is too short for guns with muzzle attachments (read AR flash hiders), so of limited use.

Works well and is decent quality for what you pay. It didn’t happen when we used it, but there is a possibility of it getting stuck in your weapon. Other than that it works pretty well. Not sure how long the light will last but seems good.

I didn't use the .223 boresight because after using the 9MM there was no point in wasting any more time. The laser dot at about ten feet away is the size of a 50 cent piece, how could anyone sight a firearm in with a 50 cent piece laser dot at 10 feet away. If the quality was better I could definitely see myself using this item since I use a sight pusher to replace my own sights. Overall I cannot recommend this product.

I haven't fired a gun in 15+ years, my wrist/hands have ‘issues’ and I cannot shoot anymore. [That doesn't mean there isn't a gun lying-in-wait to be drawn/pointed(/fired) at any (hostile) intruders.] A friend picked up shooting as a retirement hobby and I thought of them when I got this product. I used the 22 bore-sighter to make sure the adjustable sights were realigned (without firing) on my inherited pre-WW2 plinker, before giving the rifle to my friend (who would put it to use, as it deserves). I let them play around with the bore-sighters for a spell. Here's their thoughts... [Being not one for many words.]“Fits well, aims straight, makes adjusting your sights to a specific distance easy, same for configuring other laser pointers. Plenty of batteries. That helps.”Overall– Seem to do the job, as intended.
