These are too big for a good- sized hen, and a smaller hen can’t wear it. They get out of them right away if they are active at all. The lace falls apart fast and turns into long threads. Not good for chickens.

Cute but definitely not usable the girls hate them as they are so rigid of material, bands so lose no matter what you do (ie tie a knot in them) they have cheap elastic and just stretch, they are more of a risk for the girls as they can easily get caught on things due to the size. Wouldn't recommend.

I put these saddles on my flock of hens. The material is stiff and has a plastic like feel. My hens do not like the feel of the material and are constantly taking the saddles off of themselves. They also rip apart the lace frill on the bottom of the saddle. It might work for other chickens but it didn’t work for mine.

Super cute and nicely made - just can't keep them on my hens. As soon as they flap their wings or run around, they end up on the ground. Great idea, though. Even better with a few adjustments?

Cute, but very very careful and snip of any loose threads. We thought we had but on day two of our hens wearing them we found one had pulled at a thread on the one she was wearing and had it tangled around her tongue and down her throat. Took a good hour plus to get it unstuck and out but thankfully we did and she recovered ok.

My wife likes the cute designs. I like that the hens are doing better now. It allows us to uniquely identify each hen if we see a problem. We have Dumbo (Elephant that flys), kitty, daisy, panda, Star, strawberry, lemon, tomato, pineapple. They are durable and after having the saddles on for a couple of weeks, there was no indication of sores or irritation where the bands went around their legs. Some of my ranger hens were to big for the saddles but they were fine for by other layers. I highly recommend this product.

even on my extra large chickens the elastic is too long so they slip off, i had to shorten it and then it stretched out. Also had to remove the lace, roo still does his thing and his talons were getting stuck in it

These keep falling off my hens. The lace frayed on all of them after the first day. The frayed lace was a safety issue as it wrapped around one of my hen’s beaks and in her mouth. Luckily I saw and got it off.If I bought more, I wouldn’t buy these.

They are cute and can fit small or big hens . I did have to add a knot but they have not fallen off.
