The third series of Alessi pots had the ambitious goal of standing beside Sapper's copper and steel Cintura di Orione and also Giovannoni's aluminium-bottomed steel Mami , but occupying a much lower price bracket yet maintaining the same high design quality and high attention to functionality. Jasper Morrison took up the challenge of representing potness by developing his rigorous, linear and detailed style (for example the flared edge for pouring, the graduated scale inside the pots, the cover knob that lets you lift it with a wooden spoon) to produce something of a masterpiece in Super & Popular design.

Perfect warming pan, the handle stays cool and the ergonomics are perfect for pouring - no clumsy twist of a pan handle with this item. No drips either. Clever stuff from Alessi. No design frills either.

Dopo 20 anni di onorato servizio, ne ho comprato uno identico e con mia sorpresa la qualità è la stessa di 20 anni fa. Costa un botto, ma è indistruttibile e con il piano a induzione è formidabile.

Returning this product. I feel they go out of their way to hide the fact that it is indeed manufactured in China. If it really is just as nice and amazing then why is it on a sticker on the bottom of the box in letters a millimeter high? The printing on the box actually says it's produced outside the EU. Anything to not say China lol.They still don't mind charging $65 for a $20 pot though.Also, one of the features listed on the box is "Heavy lid for controlling evaporation during cooking." It goes on to describe features of this awesome lid. I'm not an English major, but that makes me think there's a lid in there. I guess I was wrong. Sorry, no lid.I used to love Alessi products and got a lot of their stuff when I could afford it years ago. Never again.

On the picture it shows to be a somewhat artistic shaped model. After seeing this in real it looks like a pee pot for our baby.
