I purchased this battery since my Mac said that my current battery "Needed Service". The kit came with everything i needed to do replacement of the battery and was simple to complete. The battery size/shape was an exact match to the original and fit perfectly. I have attached a picture after one week of using the Mac and not charging it, it still had 10% battery left.I have been using the battery for about a month now and it has been working great. I think this is an great replacement choice if your battery is going bad.

I installed this about a month ago, and have had at least a dozen recharges since. All seems to be going fine. I went from a failing OEM battery in my 2019 macbook pro to this battery. Apple wanted $200+ to do the work, so I thought I'd try it on my own as the machine is worth little more than that now. My OEM battery was getting about 30 minutes per charge, and was constantly engaging the fan. Since changing I get around 3 hours, depending on what I'm doing, and the fan turns on minimally.The install wasn't the easiest thing I've ever done, but if you're patient and read the instructions, you can get through it. The biggest challenge I found was knowing how hard to pulll/push/pry things for fear of damaging something, but I got through it unscathed. Similarly, the old battery is glued in place - so you have to pour alcohol on the old battery to let it eat up the old glue - while trying to jimmy some tools under it to break it free. That's the hardest part.There are a lot of videos on Youtube that walk trough step by step if you want to see it actually happening versus just reading the instructions. The best tip I picked up was to remove the touchpad during installation. I don't think the included instructions indicated that, and that will give you a lot of grace if you push too hard or spill the alcohol.I would certainly buy this again, and do this again. I'm sure the first time is the hardest - I'd have much more confidence doing it again.

It was easy to install and working very fine. Video tutorial give you proper insights and you have all the tools needed with the battery. Now I can use my laptop on battery. This is value for money. Fits properly.

I was a bit hesitant to even attempt this, but a little research and it didn't seem so bad. Well this product made it so much less intimidating. The kit came with all the screw drivers needed, 3 different Torx drivers, a suction cup and other necessary tools. Very clear instructions with pictures. There was nothing I needed other than what came in this kit. Battery replaced very easily! If that's what you're in need of this is the kit.

This product is by far the best bang for buck when it comes to a MacBook Pro battery replacement for the A1989 model. Fitment was perfect and no issues installing. All the tools come included with the kit along with a pair of gloves so you’re not getting your fingerprints on everything. I like that I was able to protect the screen and internal components with the provided shop towel while working on the computer. Overall, I would recommend buying this over spending over hundreds of dollars to have an Apple Genius Bar do it for you.

In short, this is not a good battery that you want to buy. The reason why I decided to change the battery of my Macpro was that the battery capacity had significantly shortened, and it lasted only for several hours. I successfully replaced the old battery with the new one from here. It took two hours to do everything safely. It worked! However, it lasted very short, even shorter than my old battery. What's the point if the replaced battery is worse than the old one. According to the previous reviews, many people seem to get decent ones. But what I got was very bad. Very disappointed!

Es ist grundsätzlich nicht leicht an gute Ersatzakkus für MacBooks zu kommen da Apple schlicht und ergreifend keine Akkus an Privatanwender verkauft.Als Elektrotechniker und ambitionierter Computer Schrauber habe ich im Laufe der letzten 15 Jahre von sehr guten Nachbauten bis hin zu totalen Katastrophen gesehen.Auch wenn immer wieder Akkus auftauchen, die angeben OEM oder Original zu sein, sie sind es schlicht und ergreifend nicht. Bei vielen dieser Akkus wird der IC eines alten defekten Originalakkus übernommen und der Load Cycle Counter auf einen niedrigen einstelligen Wert gesetzt.Bei einem Akku aus dem Zubehör sind mir grundsätzlich folgende Punkte wichtig- Funktion- Ladekapazität- VerarbeitungEin wichtiger, aber entscheidender Punkt bleibt offen, Langlebigkeit (diese kann nur nach Monaten und Jahren ermittelt werden)Grundsätzlich erwarte ich von keinem Nachbau Akku einen Originalakku in der Lebensdauer zu toppen, bin aber zufrieden, wenn diese Akkus mindestens 2 Jahre lang bei normalem Betrieb ca. 80% ihrer ursprünglichen Ladeleistung halten können. Sollte ich bei dem getesteten Akku eine Degradierung feststellen, welche diesen Wert unterschreitet, werde ich diese Bewertung selbstverständlich korrigieren.Die Egoway für das 13" MacBook Pro aus 2018/2019 zeigt sich im Test von einer sehr starken Seite :✅ Der Akku ist an den wichtigen Stellen ( zwischen den Zellen ) vernünftig isoliert✅ Der Ausbau aus dem MacBook ist natürlich eine Tortur für sich, dafür kann der neue Akku nichts. Aber der Einbau ging leicht von statten und das vorbefestigte Klebeband hält den Akku fest an Ort und Stelle✅ Wird sofort vom MacBook erkannt und ladet ohne Komplikationen✅ Nach 8 Ladezyklen pendelt sich der Akku bei einer Vollladung von 4971mAh ein.Das ist dahingehend bemerkenswert weil ein originaler Apple Akku nicht sonderlich mehr Kapazität hat.⛔ Vorteilhaft wäre es dem Akku eine kleine Flasche Lösemittel für Kleber beizulegen damit der alte Akku leichter rausgeht. Hier ist sonnst oberste Vorsicht geboten, wenn mit den beiliegenden Spachteln der alte Akku ausgehebelt wird, nimmt bei dem Versuch eine Zelle, physikalischen Schaden, kann es schnell Feuer und Rauch geben.Ich konnte bereits viele Nachbau Akkus in diversen MacBooks testen aber dieser kommt bis dato wirklich am nähsten an das Original heran.

These are almost as good as OEM and work great, but the price is a little higher than what I think it should be. Nevertheless a fix to your battery problems.

The E Egoway Laptop battery is a nice replacement battery at a great price. I got this as a replacement for the original battery on my MacBook Pro 13" (A2251). I got this just in time because the original battery was dying. As a result, it could no longer hold a decent charge.The battery is really easy to install with the included micro screwdrivers. The battery fits nicely into place. No need to use too much force like with other batteries I tried. I was done installing it in under 15 minutes. When I booted the Macbook, the battery was correctly displayed and verified as being brand new.I've been using this battery for over two months now and it works as great as the original. Hopefully, it will last just as long. This is a great battery for my Macbook Pro and an excellent choice for anyone looking to replace theirs. Full marks from me!

This A1964 battery is a good replacement for a dead or floundering Mac battery. It comes boxed with instructions and all the tools (screwdrivers) necessary for installation. If you haven't replaced a MacBook battery before and are planning on doing the installation yourself, I recommend watching some online video tutorials first. This will show you the do's and don'ts. I also recommend wearing an anti-static wristband whenever you're working inside a laptop, even if all you're doing is replacing a battery. This means you won't inadvertently fry any electrical components with static electricity from your skin. You can also wear nitrile gloves if you choose, but I find that they get in the way and make fiddly work even fiddlier.The battery works well and does what it's designed for. Once fully charged, it outperforms the factory-fitted batteries that come as standard with MacBooks. In that sense this is more than just a replacement battery: it's also a slight upgrade.The current cost of £72.99 is reasonable.
