I used this product on a Wildroad flat, roof cargo rack. I attached it to the 1” tubing using half inch rubber to fill the gap.Noise was reduced by 80% but it did take me several attempts to position it just right. In my particular case I began by eyeballing the wind deflector to a level position, but after adjusting slightly more upward I hit the sweet spot.
