Works like a charm. I thought the remote was overkill, but I do find myself using it to turn the unit off. Highly recommended for rooms where airflow is a bit weak.

This unit works well. The room we put it in used to always be cold, now it is always comfortable. Bought a second one due to being impressed with the first one. The unit is however a tad louder than anticipated but you get used to it

Our primary bedroom is the furthest in the house from the furnace/AC blower, and all the HVAC guys kept saying the only way to get it cooler in the summer would have been installing a second AC system $$$$. This teeny little fan has magically done the trick. The only catch is that if you don’t have an outlet near the vent you want it on, you have to deal with a cord stretching for a while, but we got lucky on that one.

This thing really works to pull out cold air from a/c unit. Easy installation and comes with a remote and instruction booklet. Very Highly Recommended and well worth the cost!

This booster does a decent job boosting when it runs, but the automatic thermostat feature leaves a lot to be desired. It seems to take a very long time to detect when the AC kicks on, so there is a lot of wasted time when the booster isn't running, but should be. See the attached photo showing a 14-degree difference between my IR thermometer and the thermostat! It also needs some hysteresis because it constantly cycles between on and off when the temperature is right on the edge.Another con is that the booster is quite noisy, especially at levels 9 and 10. I suspect it's similarly noisy for all boosters of this style, but I also have a blower-style booster (Cyclone CM-300) where I found the noise was much less grating (more of a whoosh than a buzz) and the boosting much more powerful. (I should have just bought that one again.)However, there are some pros. It has a nice long cable, the remote works well, and has a nice touch of being magnetic and even comes with a little metal plate you can stick somewhere as a place to dock your remote.

Works good for first couple weeks then doesn't shut off or slow down and temperature just keeps rising on it out of no where

This is a decent vent booster. It fits perfectly in the slot for a 10x4 vent register. The fans fit into the register slot and blow out to boost the flow of air. It does look good.I like the clear display. It's easy to see across the room what the exhaust temperature is. The remote allows you to cycle through display settings - cool / heat / temp / fan speed. It's easy to operate. The remote even comes with a magnetic plate that you can fix to metal or use the adhesive pad to place on a wall or other convenient location. It is quiet in the lower settings (under 6), but doesn't push very much air at all. The catch is the fan housing and fans themselves take up a fair amount of space creating resistance to the natural airflow when off. The display panel also eats up additional vent space. The result is you need the fan to run at least low to make up for the space lost through the vent. However, if you run it higher than a 6, it gets really loud. 6-7 is very noticeable and anything above that starts to make it hard to hear the TV or conversations in a 16x20 room.I also used this in an enclosed area to create airflow between rooms mounted between walls without a connection to an HVAC system. It will move some air, but not very much unless you place it in a loud/high setting.
