Works okay, did the job, reasonable set for smaller jobs.

Higher quality than expected and works very well. Make sure you watch a youtube video or two if you haven't ever made double flares. Screwed several up before I figured out how to do it, the process isn't intuitive..

I purchased this, tested the result and returned the tool, so I cannot speak to whether the flares it creates would actually work without leaking. It does create a flared end, but its impossible to center the flare in the tubing, and the clamp creates a large burr that had to be filed off every time. Perhaps there's a better tool for this.

Just love it. Worked very well for two gas lines that I have to cut, not sure the the tubing size, but one was a buick and the other one a GMC Sierra truck. I lovre the double flare feature. Great quality product. I'm a occasional garage "mechanic" so I didn't need a very expensive tool. I highly recommend it.

Its great . All you have to do is cleanup tubing holder with emory cloth, not paper to get rid of small burrs etc. For the rest its very well built. Also I cleaned the tubing holder with a drill bit for each size very gentley, not too much. Just my fine tuning.

The only thing I don't like is the threading inside the clamp bores. It's there for grip but it leaves witness marks on the tubing. If you're using these for an application where appearances matter, this will be a problem. Otherwise, for the price the set is well made and I would recommend it.

horrible machining. I would have been okay with some marring on the tube or rough / sharp edges, but for the holes to be drilled slanted is a little too much to take! I was under the impression that I was doing something wrong until I realized that the clamp holes were drilled at an angle (look at the 3/16 and you will see what I mean). Ended up shelling some money for a proper kit which double flared the tube perfectly in one go. The die minced after three attempts too. Kit is okay if you're doing a single flare or something that you won't mind leaking a bit, but I was working on a Harley brake line so I needed a properly seated / sealed connection.

I used it on copper-nickel brake lines. It did a very nice job especially considering the very reasonable price. I found the it helped to lubricate (with cutting oil or equivalent) the die first. The tubing camp marks the tubing, not detrimentally, but it does hold the tubing securely.

I used this to do the brake lines on my truck. Use nickel copper tubing, anything harder will just make the job tougher. The tubing likes to slide through the clamp, so you have to really crank down on the wing nuts using a screwdriver or something. The tool takes some muscle to work, so definitely use the softer tubing. All in all, it works and i haven’t crashed yet so I call it a win.
